I have wanted to make an ornamental jewellery hook for some time, but in particular one that looks great even when not bedecked with jewels! 
 
The entwining stems and leaves of  Sargassum seaweed lend themselves so beautifully to this purpose.

Made from blackened steel with brass embellishments, this hook is good and strong and while the seaweed can be used for fine necklaces and bracelets the larger hook can provide a perfect home for your chunkier items.
