I have a bit of an obsession with the majestic Mahogany tree, in particular the shape of the seeds that burst out of their pods on impact with the ground.
 
I love the difference in thickness of the seeds as they curve from top to bottom, they are surprisingly delicate on the edge of the wing.
 
As with all my designs, each seed has been individually made, shaped and textured by hand, before being attached to the chain in such a way as to appear like tumbling, scattering Mahogany seeds.
